The brief for this table was a 'solid wood console table, with a simple and elegant design that shows off some really special timber'. The entrance hall in the wonderful Shropshire house in which it now lives had been recently redecorated with limestone flooring and 'Dorset cream' walls to give it a light and airy feeling. The table was designed to enhance this atmosphere.
