A wonderful and challenging commission. This truly was a 'made to measure' piece; with the client trying out a full size pine prototype so that we could make absolutely certain that the chair was the exact shape and fit for absolute comfort - a 'Saville Row' experience. The yew had been lying in a fellow maker's woodstore for forty years waiting for the right commisssion. I hope we did it justice! Happily Sarah thinks so.
