The brief was to make four Regency chairs - two dining and two carvers to match an existing set of eight and then re-upholster all twelve. When I set up James Morley Furniture I didn't set out to try and recreate antique furniture however this commission was a real challenge that tested all my skills and taught me many new ones in the process. It makes you appreciate the skills of the cabinetmakers of old.
