The first visit

Once an interest has been expressed and outline details of the possible commission discussed over the phone, I would visit to find out exactly what you would like, agree an outline budget, measure up and, crucially, get a feel for the proposed environment for the finished piece. Some clients have very fixed ideas, others are very open to new ones.
